Maintaining strong relationships with our referring community is a priority for us. Always feel free to call us with any questions or concerns.
Veterinary Continuing Education
As part of our ongoing commitment to veterinary education and research, VSH San Diego offers:
- Quarterly continuing education seminars
- Case-based discussions on the latest medical advances for veterinarians
- Monthly classes for veterinary technicians to further their education
In addition to our live events, we offer webinars and live teleconferencing of most of our continuing education programs. Our programs are accredited through American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) and Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE).
For more information regarding upcoming CE programs, please contact Pam Collier at [email protected] or call 858-875-7500, x645.
Clinical Trials
VSH is committed to providing the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options for our patients. Sometimes, this means going a step further and assisting in the development of those options. To that end, VSH is pleased to participate in clinical trials that seek to provide the larger veterinary community with answers and select patients with what may be their only hope for treatment.
Veterinary Referral Partner Network
We are proud to offer the Veterinary Referral Partner Network (VRPN). The inspiration behind this program came from you, our referring partners and team members. The VRPN was created to continue strengthening the relationship between VSH and our referring community. If your hospital is interested in enrolling in our partnership program, please contact us.
Teleradiology and Outpatient Imaging Services
We provide veterinary teleradiology services for pets in need of X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds, or CTs. We offer these services to pets referred to us by general veterinarians – if you are a veterinary professional who would like to learn more about our veterinary teleradiology services, please contact the diagnostic imaging department at 858-875-7500. Pet owners should speak with their family veterinarian about a referral to one of our two facilities in the San Diego area.
Due to COVID-19, we have temporarily suspended our outpatient ultrasound referral service. We encourage you to send patients seeking an ultrasound through our ER department.
