Curb-Side Veterinary Care Procedures
Thank you for placing your trust in our medical team. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you navigate care for your pet while following local COVID-19 guidelines and ensuring safety for all involved. Our procedures below outline the various different types of appointments and what you should do on, or before arrival at our hospital.

Is this a Life-threatening Emergency?
If your pet is suffering from any of the symptoms of a dire emergency (listed here), please follow the instructions below:
Curb-side Procedure: Please call ahead and briefly describe your pet’s symptoms. Walk directly to the Check-in tent near the front door. If the tent is empty, please ring the bell at the front door when you arrive.

Before you Arrive:
- Please call ahead and let us know what symptoms you are seeing.
- Keep track of time and frequency of the activity. For example: “he started vomiting at 10am, he vomited 3 times … at 10:15 am there was blood in the vomit.”
- If your pet ate something toxic, please bring the packaging, or remaining (uneaten) item.
- Please make sure you have your pet’s leash and collar, or make sure he/she is safely inside a carrier.
When You Arrive:
- Head straight to the check-in tent, or ring the buzzer at the main door (if the tent is empty).
- The technician who evaluates your pet will determine whether or not your pet needs to be brought in for treatment immediately.
- A member of our team will ask you to fill out a Client Registration form, ER Questionnaire, and a COVID symptoms questionnaire, and triage your pet.
- Your pet’s doctor will call you following their examination of your pet.
Your Pet’s Life is Not in Imminent Danger, but he/she needs Medical Attention, and you don’t have an Appointment:
If your pet is suffering from any of the symptoms associated with an emergency (listed lower down, following the dire emergency check list), or if you are here because your family veterinarian is closed and you were directed here, but your pet’s life is not in imminent danger, please follow the instructions below:
Curb-side Procedure: Please park near the front of the building and walk to the ER Triage tent near the front door. If the tent is empty, please ring the bell at the front door when you arrive.

- Please make sure you have your pet’s leash and collar, or make sure he/she is safely inside a carrier.

You are Here for your Pet’s Appointment
Please don’t forget your pet’s leash and collar, or make sure he/she is safely inside a carrier.
When you Arrive:
- When you arrive, please park your car and text us with your space number (or the make/model/color) of your car, your pet’s first and last name, and the department or doctor you have an appointment with.
- Please text us when you arrive and let us know which department or doctor you have an appointment with, or park and head to the check-in tent.
- A member of our team will ask you to fill out a Client Registration form and a COVID symptoms questionnaire, and triage your pet.
- A member of our team will be out to take your pet in for their appointment.
- Your pet’s doctor will call you following their examination of your pet.
