About
Dr. Emily Lu was born in California but lived in Taiwan until she returned to the US to attend college at University of California, San Diego. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery here at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley.
Dr. Lu’s clinical interests include ocular emergencies, envenomation, laceration repairs, fracture stabilization, and veterinary nutrition.
During her spare time, she enjoys trying new vegan restaurants, watching Korean dramas and swimming with her family’s two labrador retrievers and mini aussie – Mika, Bambi and Mung Mung. She also enjoys taking care of her two goldfish, Olive and Tajima.
