Dr. Andi Flory is a board-certified specialist in Medical Oncology. Dr. Flory graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and completed additional training at Florida Veterinary Specialists and Cancer Treatment Center in Tampa, Florida, and Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She is a Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Oncology. Dr. Flory has previously worked as an oncologist for the Cornell University Feline Health Center, The Animal Medical Center in New York City, and the Veterinary Specialist Centre in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Flory loves caring for dogs cats with cancer, as well as providing palliative care for all 4-legged cancer patients. Her approach to each case is to find the right treatment option for the family and the pet, using surgery, radiation therapy, and/ or medical therapy. She likes to discuss multiple treatment options with families so that they can make an informed decision on care for their pet. Her special oncology interests include low-dose chemotherapy (metronomic chemotherapy), novel cancer treatments, and canine lymphoma. Dr. Flory has won a number of awards and honors and is widely published in the veterinary oncology literature.
Away from work, Dr. Flory is interested in travelling, snowboarding, yoga, SCUBA diving, running, and spending time with her husband, son, their dog Cheyenne, and their fat cat Elton.
